Harvest Celebration Weekend Oct 5th
Join Ilsley Vineyards, RARECAT Wines and Redmon Wines for a weekend of activities that will surprise and delight. You will be hosted by three vintners whose family histories span 100 years in the Napa Valley. You are invited to attend four special events that will each bring a unique perspective to your weekend. Welcome Party with Redmon Wines Friday, October 5th, 2:00pm and 3:30pm (two start times) Redmon Ranch, 867 Dowdell Lane, St. Helena Lisa Redmon will kick off the weekend with a guided tour of her historic property including a pre-prohibition winery built in 1907 still in its original condition. While you sip wine vineyard side, she will tell stories about her 40 years of history in the Napa Valley and share information about its appellations, including: geography, soils and weather patterns. Light appetizers will be served. Space is limited to 40 people Vineyard Walk with Ilsley Vineyards Saturday, October 6th, 9:00am and 10:30am (two start times) Ilsley Vineyards, 6270 Silverado Trail, Stag’s Leap Guests will join 3rd generation vintners, Ernie, Janice and David Ilsley, for a "HarvestVineyard Walk and Talk". See the families’ 64th harvest first-hand and enjoy the beauty of their Stag's Leap District estate. Sample the grapes from the vines, learn about their prestigious vineyards' unique terroir and enjoy their very limited production wines paired with a special culinary surprise. Space is limited to 40 people Harvest Party Saturday, October 6th, 4:00pm to 7:00pm Harris’ Family Private Residence (owner of RARECAT Wines), 1472 St. Helena Hwy, St. Helena Gather to celebrate what Napa Valley and wine truly represent - community, friendship and comradery. This is a rare opportunity to enjoy three ultra-premium, small production wines produced by three different vintners. You will have the opportunity to try newly released wines that are available only through the wineries directly. Also expect delicious food pairings and a special activity! Space is limited to 150 people Breakfast Send-Off Sunday, October 7th, 9:30am Harris' Family Private Residence (owner of RARECAT Wines), 1472 St. Helena Hwy, St. Helena Drop by from 9:30am - 12:30pm to experience how the real Napa Valley recovers from a weekend of wine revelry. Join RARECAT for breakfast burritos and Champagne. Come hear Sharon Kazan Harris explain the differences between Champagne and Sparkling Wine and taste some incomparable bubbles. Harris is the only American vintner producing single vineyard wines in Champagne, Bordeaux and Napa and loves sharing stories about the similarities, differences and challenges of working in these world-class wine regions.
