Redmon Wines 2010 Blended Cabernet of 81% cabernet sauvignon, 12% cabernet franc, and 7% merlot rounds out this approachable wine. Expressions of blueberry, mocha and spice complemented by hints of black olive form the key components for this substantial blend. The mid pallet shows great length with notes of blackberry and espresso bean. The fruit for this wine is sourced from some of the best small, family farms in the upper Napa Valley.
The 2010 vintage introduces the name “95/Five” to this wine. The name represents stories of Scott and Lisa “blending” their personalities and negotiating during the first years of winemaking and bringing the Redmon brand to market. To get the full story, come to Napa and hear it first hand from Scott and Lisa.
