Redmon Wines Cabernet Blend 2009 is now available. A blend of 77% cabernet sauvignon, 15% merlot, and 8% cabernet franc rounds out this fruity and approachable wine. The fruit for this wine is sourced from some of the best small, family farms in the upper Napa Valley.

The foundational Cabernet vineyard, the Garvey Vineyard, is located on the western hillside of Rutherford.  Expressions of black cherry and rhubarb pie complemented by espressso bean form the key components fo this substantial blend. The silky mid-palate is smooth and graceful as slight hints of minerality and oak glide this wine experience to a lasting finish.

The Redmon 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon continues our tradition of producing an elegant cabernet sauvignon that is the signature of our Redmon Wines portfolio.  This Napa Valley wine is produced with 100% cabernet sauvignon from the Redmon Estate vineyard. With this vintage you will indulge in flavors of cherry blossom and rose petal followed by hints of boysenberry and black cherry.  Premium French Oak barrels layer in hints of vanilla, almond, and a touch of toast.  The result is a masterful wine that will cellar from at least 15 to 18 years.

Crisp and fruity, the flavors of this sun ripened chardonnay combine aromatics of green apple, pear, shale after a spring rain, and honeysuckle. The French Oak Barrels add a touch of almond and vanilla that dance across the mid palate.

This light colored, medium-bodied chardonnay begins with a silky entry upon the pallet with honeydew mellon, a touch of lemon marang, and a wee bit of butter cinnamon toast.  It is completed with a wonderful finish of refined acidity. These flavors combine to expresses the natural goodness captured from the warm days and cool nights that one comes to expect from a premium Napa Valley Chardonnay!
