This Chardonnay combines vineyards located at the gateway to the Napa Valley. The Carneros vineyard is nestled at the top of a small knoll in the center of the Carneros Appellation. Bordered by some of the world’s finest Chardonnay and Pinot Noir producers, the fruit from this unique vineyard enjoys a pedigree second to none. Adding to the distinct flavor profile of this wine are grapes from western Napa Valley that brings out a rich, lingering taste experience.
Situated in the cool climate regions of the valley that rarely reach 80 degrees in the summer, these vineyards flourish in the loamy, alluvial soils. Each vine enjoys 360 degree sunlight that evenly ripens each chardonnay cluster. Hand-picked and moved to the winery, whole clusters are pressed just right to surrender the precious juice that is barrel fermented into the Redmon Chardonnay.
